Can BodyTite™ be done with liposuction? Or Without Liposuction?

When BodyTite™ is done in combination with Liposuction, it helps to reduce skin laxity and provide better results to prevent more extensive surgery and bigger scars.

In some cases it can be done without Liposuction, but that can be decided during the patient’s consultation.

Can BodyTite™ be done under local Anesthesia?

Our doctors are specialized in performing this procedure under local anesthesia or conscious sedation, as it is minimally invasive and requires very small scars , our patients tolerate it very well without being asleep.

Skin Tightening Benefits

BodyTite uses the radio-frequency energy to tighten the skin during the procedure. Traditional liposuction has very minimal skin tightening benefits. Oftentimes, this results in sagging skin after traditional liposuction. In addition to tightening skin while simultaneously reducing fat, BodyTite™ can also help improve skin laxity after excessive weight loss or due to aging.

Recovery and Downtime

BodyTite™ leaves minimal scars, if any, that fade with time. BodyTite™ patients may still experience bruising and swelling, but the level of discomfort is greatly reduced.

Most of our BodyTite™ patients only have 2-3 days of downtime and achieve full recovery very quickly. A compression garment may also have to be worn with BodyTite™.

Post-Procedure Results

Keep in mind that with any procedure, results will vary from patient to patient. The best results are noticeable after 6 months to a year.
